  Keynote Session A UNESCO Perspective on Post-Pandemic Museum Development  
  Keynote Speaker Feng Jing, Chief of Culture Unit, UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok  
  Abstract

   Feng Jing, Ph.D., will present a UNESCO perspective on the post-pandemic scenarios faced by museums globally, drawing from UNESCO's global report 'Museum Around the World in the Face of COVID-19'. The session will also introduce UNESCO’s new initiative for ASEAN museums. This includes capacity-building programs, digital transformation, and designing a shared histories exhibition. The talk will explore how museums can foster social cohesion, embrace new technologies, and enhance inventories and storage to remain relevant and secure.
