“Nong Nam Dok Mai” is a mobile chatbot-based virtual assistant for the Ban Phot Paeosea Museum in Phetchabun Province, which houses an extensive collection of marine fossils from the Permian age. Launched in 2022, this low-cost solution addresses challenges such as limited space, static information boards, and a shortage of tour guides. By providing AI voice messages and AR fossil models, it enhances visitor engagement and aids local guides. This session will detail the journey of “Nong Nam Dok Mai” from development to implementation, sharing valuable insights for other museums.
