Presentation Title Interactive Exhibition: Opportunities and Challenges
Abstract

Mankind is entering the 21st century with the 4.0 technology revolution, the foundation of which is the strong development of information technology. This revolution affects almost all areas of social life, creating change markedly in the study tours and human entertainment activities. Today, the visitors who come to the museum do not simply read the documents and look at the artifacts or collections displayed in the glass cabinets; they wish to interact and “dialogue” with the artifacts to understand the exhibition better and improve their knowledge in a proactive way. This has led to fierce competition between museums, arts and cultural institutions, and the entertainment industry, requiring museums to offer rich and engaging activities to attract visitors, especially in terms of content and forms of exhibitions. In this paper, the author mentions the need for multi-dimensional interaction in the exhibition, which is a demand and an important factor in attracting visitors to the museum. It also presents challenges that the museum must overcome to provide visitors with interesting experiences while ensuring the scientific and educational nature of the exhibitions.
