   This panel focuses on the role of museums in addressing climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. Presenters will discuss case studies and strategies for integrating environmental practices within museum operations and community engagement efforts.

   Kimberly Ann Marie Chan presents various case studies on how museums can act as role models in environmental sustainability. This session will explore practical and applicable precedents from institutions like the ArtScience Museum (Singapore) and the Victoria & Albert Museum (London) that demonstrate museums' potential to advocate for a greener future and inspire community change.

- Natural Capital: The National Science Museum's Role in Promoting Creative Educational Activities and Fostering Understanding and Interest in Biodiversity within the Context of Community ResourcesSuchada Khamha

   Suchada Khamha from the National Science Museum Thailand, discusses the museum's initiatives in promoting biodiversity and environmental education. The presentation highlights collaborative projects aimed at reducing educational disparities, promoting sustainable use of natural resources, and fostering community awareness about biodiversity through creative and practical educational activities.

  Biography

   Patcharawee Tunprawat is the Head of Arts and Creative Industries for the British Council in Thailand. Her work covers all areas of creative and cultural collaboration between Thailand and the UK, where she works with multiple artists and communities in both countries, especially looking at how artistic and cultural exchanges can bring about socio-economic, environmental, and cultural impacts. She currently leads Thai-UK collaborative programmes on the creative economy, cultural heritage, and connecting artists and cultural practitioners, among others.
